CSR for Inclusive Education, A Better World

The George Telegraph associated with NASSCOM Foundation to empower differently-abled students in Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Pune through inclusive education and skill training. The training programs include Integrated Digital Literacy and Professional Data Entry, equipping students for meaningful career opportunities.

Pathways to Professionalism with Tech Mahindra Foundation

George College of Management and Science, affiliated with The George Telegraph Training Institute. Recently, we concluded training for 90 young individuals in the Field Technician AC and Refrigeration, as well as Four Wheeler Automotive Technician courses, as part of our #SMART T partnership. A certificate distribution ceremony event marked their accomplishment, with Ms. Shormi Roy Choudhury, Head of Branding and Communications at TMF, inspiring the students for their upcoming careers. We congratulate all the participants and wish them success as they step into the workforce.

Pride in Progress with IOCL

The George Telegraph, in collaboration with Indian Oil (IOCL) at Dadar (East), has launched a pioneering CSR initiative to promote inclusivity and equal opportunity. Partnering with NSDC and Hamsafar, India’s largest NGO for pride communities, they’ve established a skill training center exclusively for LGBTQ individuals. This project aims to break barriers to education and employment, empower marginalized communities, and foster a more inclusive society by transcending gender stereotypes. Through this initiative, they strive to create a world where everyone can thrive, regardless of their background or identity.

Fuelling Retail Excellence: A CSR Collaboration to Equip Future Talent

India’s retail sector is the fourth largest globally, contributing over 10% to the GDP. In 2022, the market reached INR 91,891 billion, with a projected CAGR of over 13% by 2027. In response, the George Telegraph CSR Projects division has partnered with Budge Budge Refineries Ltd. to establish training centers across all 23 districts of West Bengal, equipping students with essential retail sector skills.

Nurturing Growth: A CSR Partnership to Build Skills and Opportunities for Adolescents

The George Telegraph CSR Projects Division has partnered with Bal Raksha Bharat, the Indian arm of the globally renowned NGO, Save the Children. This collaboration will provide skill-based training to adolescents in West Bengal and Assam. This initiative will help provide underprivileged children with meaningful childhoods, supported by the corporate sector.

Lighting the Path to Prosperity: International Empowerment for Children

We are committed to helping children break the cycle of poverty. Our initiative will establish three skill training centers in West Bengal to provide training for 2,500 street children, high school, and middle school dropouts. The goal is to empower every child to graduate from our program, equipping them with the skills necessary to secure employment.
